A new look for 2018
All the old dolls are still available though, but new ones with new outfits will be coming soon and consistently!
Please meet the newest addition to the closet, Miss Lissette DuPont. Lissette was born in 1859, in mid-western America. She is a mixture of cultures, bearing the blood of the English, French, Irish and Lakota. Lissette was raised in a Lakota tribe, spent her youn teenage years travelling with her father, and then lived for several years with her Aunt Evangeline in Baton Rouge, attending finishing school.
Ok, so maybe I've been reading too many Louis L'Amore books, lol. She was created from the desire to make some awesome cowboy outfits and learn how to draw bustles. So, to match all her crazy assortment of outfits I had to come up with an equally crazy life story (and you've only heard the half of it... wait until you hear about all the scrapes she gets into trying to travel west alone to find her father... lol)
In this outfit she wears a lovely frock imported from France. It has a gathered overskirt revealing a layered lace underskirt.
