I hope you all are having a wonderful spring! We've been having typical March weather: snow, sleet, rain, sun, wind, cloud, and whatever else might mix in with the smorgasbord!
Juana, when we last saw her, was dressed as Aca as she tried to convince the People of the Mist she was their goddess in physical form to save the lives of her party (and hopefully find a bunch of jewels). Things turned nasty and Fransisco, the monk, sacrificed his life so that Juana, Leonard and Otter could escape. They were found by an English explorer and one of the first things Leonard and Juanna did once recovered was to get married.
Because they were married in the African wilds there wouldn't have been much choice for clothing. This simple outfit, I imagine, was owned by the wives of one of the men in explorer's group. But Juanna is so lovely, especially as a bride, that even this simple gown is enchanting on her.
Lately, I have been spending my time reading the Hunger Games trilogy. What a great set of books! I haven't watched the movie yet (hopefully this weekend!). Ideas are swimming in my mind for a paper doll of Katniss. Have any of you read the books or watched the movie?
