Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are all able to spend time with family and people you love, and eat lots of good food. Below is a new doll, I will have to post the PDF for her and the dress at a later date. These are some of my first experiments with color, using Gimp. I have a plethora of costumes I just finished inking and will hopefully be able to scan in & create PDFs next weekend with them. I'm very excited about the coming dresses (and at least one new doll!).
Quin wears a soft linen shirt with crocheted edging around the sleeves and waist, and a short vest over top. The skirt is calf length with an uneven hem. She wears yellow gaiters over leather boots and blue arm protectors.
Perhaps it's the fact that I was homeschooled and never had a uniform or dress code (other than "no pajamas"), but I love school uniforms. The pretty skirts (especially the plaid, pleated ones), the vests and blouses. I'm sure I would've disliked them as a kid, but I think they look adorable. So here are a couple ideas:
Woot! Another paper doll, finally...
Clara wears a button-up dress with an asymmetrical hemline. A leather jacket, black tights, buckled leather boots and a bright red messenger bag complete her outfit.
