Here's a look at a gal who may be a future doll. She's been floating around my head for a while and has worked her way into multiple doodles and even the beginning of a story. Her name is Tamber and she lives on an island (not tropical) and helps her family raise sheep. The culture/technology would be similar to ancient Israel, and the clothing is steering that direction. Simple tunics and gowns, sashes and scarves, no buttons or lacings, leather shoes.
It's been a marvelously perfect autumnal week here. Chilly days, wind and rain. The leaves are flying everywhere (except the ones on the tree next to us.) Hopefully this weekend will be dry and we can rake them all up! And then jump in the pile... :)
It's the weekend and Tara is going out with friends. Her funny little pooch, a Pug, and her Persian cat will guard the apartment from intruders.
It seems like the overwhelming majority (also known as 100%) of you would like to see PDF files immediately available for printing! I will do my best to honor that!
And now, without further ado, your previously scheduled doll:
Jitka was raised in the foothills of the Great Mountains, an area called the Shadowlands. It is a remote and dangerous land. She is the adopted daughter of Dvokan Kethro'kor and spends her days herding goats.
Jitka's story was first conceived when I was around nine years old. It has taken many twists, turns and dramatic changes since then. If you are interested in reading the story that I am writing to go along with Jitka feel free to click "read more".
