Susan Pevensie has some beautiful costumes in the newest versions of the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian. This blue gown, worn in Prince Caspian, is one of my favorites. I chose to do a very simplistic rendition of it (all the embroidery on her blue overdress is just too intricate and monotonous for me to draw...)

In other news, the poll I started several weeks ago had some surprising resules (at least to me). I thought the full color dolls would get more votes, but strangely enough it's the dolls with stories that steal 2/3 of the votes! I have to confess this makes me happy because those are my favorite dolls to draw, and I love that you enjoy my silly stories too!
One of my favorite books is Jane Eyre. I have tried drawing a doll of her several times, but I never am satisfied with the result. Probably because my doll only shows one facet of her deep & intricate character. Here are a couple sketches of Jane, Rochester, and Helen (from the Tenant of Wildfell Hall). Enjoy!
Here is River Song from the seventh season, helping the Doctor face the Weeping Angels. She wears a lovely black dress with a corset bodice, net sleeves, full skirt, and tan trenchcoat.
