The King of Taglyn has three beautiful daughters. His eldest (Coridel), is happily married to Rastruan, and both are preparing to be King and Queen someday. Jonquil is the second oldest, she is contrary and spends more time outdoors with swords and horses than indoors. Alisaid is the youngest, and possibly the most spoiled consequentially, of the three. She is a romantic soul who dreams of a handsome prince charming who will come sweep her off her feet in a swoon-worthy fashion. Unfortunately, being a princess in Taglyn means that danger and adventure are sure to take place before your happily-ever-after takes place.
Alisaid begins her eighteenth birthday ball with high expectations, the most gorgeous dress in the country, and a handsome and devoted beau. But that's where her good luck ends. You see, that handsome beau places a spell on her and kidnaps her and brings her to his castle (stolen from his cousin). What will happen? Will Alisaid escape? Will she be forced to marry Sir Sebastien?
Yep, another corny story from yours truly.
This dress isn't one of my favorites. I like the idea, but the finished product just doesn't match with my imagined one. This dress definitely needs a second draft, but I'll keep this first version up for posterity's sake!
Katniss, defiant as usual, dresses in the robe she wears for her introduction to her personal stylist, Cinna. Since they're in the Capital, and everything (absolutely everything) is flamboyant and frivolous beyond belief, even this simple robe is a work of art from it's asymmetrical hemline, to the draping, swirling neckline and the graceful sash that defines her waist.
B was awesome and sent me some of the dresses she has colored for Winifred! I love her version of The Riddle dress, such vibrant colors! Click the photo above to look at them, or access it through the "Showcase" link up top.
It's been a while since Maggie was in the spot light! Here she is sporting a lovely day gown. This is one of my favorites for her. It is shamelessly copied from a fashion plate from the era, with a few slight changes.
