Please welcome the Closet's newest model, Imogene! She will be featured in costumes from various films and TV shows that I enjoy (or just really admire the costumes from).
Please meet Rayna~ a young woman living in Onerym.
Ever since I did the interview with Rachel from Paper Thin Personas, I have been playing more and more with colors. She asked me why I didn't use color, and my answer was simple: fear. And so I am trying to overcome my terror of the polychromal (is that a word?) world. Give me a few weeks and I should have PDFs available of Rayna instead of just a JPG image!
This another doll from the imagined land of Onerym. She, like many of my dolls, has a long convoluted story that exists mainly in my brain. Someday maybe it will make its way onto paper like Rayna has. She wears a very simple white gown, draped in the back, with a small train and shortened hemline in the front. A lightweight blue swath of fabric is pinned at the shoulder, draping over her back, and wrapping around to her hip to also fall to the grown, simulating the look of a waterfall.
Here's Jonquil sporting an outfit to have an adventure in. She wears a simple cotton shirt with gathered sleeves, breaches tucked into tall leather boots and an embroidered tunic with a full skirt that is laced up the bodice and open down to the knees for ease of movement.
