Here is Adelaide looking very gorgeous in a long satin gown with brocaded bodice. It's very simple, but quite elegant.
In honor of how I spent my day (helping out at a free Spay & Neuter Clinic), I present to you Tara the Veterinary Technician (or Tara Tech, if you prefer). This is an idea that sprouted in my mind back in my school years. My lab partner helped by whispered comments under guise of asking questions while the teacher lectured.
This outfit shows Tara proudly displaying the Vet Tech caduceus, which is a "V" with a "T" in it, and a snake intwined up the trunk of the "T" (like in the typical medical insignia). She wears jeans and flats, definitely not dressed for a work day, but perhaps she is helping out at a fundraiser or attending continuing education!
You may notice that Tara is the first of my dolls to sport shading. I'm doing an experiment with her, I probably won't begin doing this on all the dolls, but it's fun to play around.
Here is a simple outfit I wore to church a while back. The skirt is supposed to have a large houndstooth print on it (in orange, black and white) but that was too much eyebugging detail for me to try and replicate ;) The skirt is one of my thrift store finds. It appears to be homemade, from some sort of wool-mix, and fits me perfectly. I tucked a simple white blouse into it, wore a ribbon at my neck, put some warm tights on and brown leather shoes and looked like I was ready for school! lol
